Three-day Rakhi making program

NGO MSS organized three-day Rakhi making programa in Valmiki Colony (Patel Nagar), Hisar. The program was designed to hone the individual talents of children by engaging them in creative activities. Bimla Arya, President of Mahila Suraksha Samiti taught them to make different types of Rakhis. Under her guidance, children and women made colorful Rakhis, which brought joy and enthusiasm in them. Such programs provide children an opportunity to show their creativity apart from their regular studies. When children saw colorful threads, shiny beads, stones, lace and other decorative materials, a new glow and excitement appeared on their faces. It was no less than a treasure for them. For many of them, it was the first time they got the opportunity to see and touch so many materials together, and they got excited like a new artist. Seeing all this, the creativity of making Rakhis burst instantly in the children. They started making their imagination come true by joining threads and stringing beads with their little fingers.
