आरने......Nostelgia

आरने.

इस तरह की तस्वीरें देख कर मुझे अपने गाँव के वे दिन याद आ जाते हैं जब मैं नौवीं कक्षा में पढ़ती थी।  उन दिनों हमारे ईलाके में नहर का पानी नहीं  आया था  और  बारानी खेती की जाती थी . साढ़ी  की फसल काटने के बाद सीमाने खाली हो जाया करते थे और डाॅंगर -पशु वहां खुले चरते रहते थे।  गर्मियां खूब पड़ती थी और बालू रेत बहुत गर्म हो जाया करती थी जब भी कोई गाय-बछड़ी  गोबर करती  थी तब वह गर्म बालू रेत में  जल्दी सुख जाता।  इस तरह कुदरती रूप में बने गोबर के उपलों को आरने /राणे कहा  जाता है. गाँव की लड़कियां खेतों/सीमानों में आरने /राणे  चुगने जाया करती थी। 

मैं भी अपनी बुआ के साथ आरने चुगने  जाती थी हम है भर  - भर कर  आरने लाते थे और उन्हें जलाने के लिए इक्क्ठे कर लिया करते थे।  ये आरने बहुत अच्छे जलते थे , क्योंकि इनमें सिर्फ सुखा गोबर होता था, जबकि  उपलों में कई बार घास-फुस मिला दिया जाता है और वे धुँआ पैदा करते हैं।

I made this one a while ago, but recently kids broke a glass cover, so I've decided to take some pictures................Outstanding Crochet: 

Crochet case purse mirror "Gerda".

I finished this "easy/intermediate" level pattern

yesterday. It called "Gerda"

 because it reminds me of the tale Snow Gueen by Hans Christian Andersen.

Again, it has step-by-step pictures with written instructions and charts. Goes to my folder until my work permit papers are

 ready.

as soon as i read here tbat's in the blog of the girl' with post above here ..yes in her blog.....about Hans Christian Andersen

who's story was in the news some 5-6 months ago in every news paper......the story was "The Emperor's New Clothes"

and pointing towards Arvind_Kejriwal an Indian politician, social activist and former Indian Revenue Service officer who is the seventh and current Chief Minister of Delhi.
